Martin Horwood MP opens "green" Space Business Centre Cheltenham
Martin Horwood MP officially unveiled the brand new ‘Space Business Centre Cheltenham’ at its launch event held on 3rd July 2009.
The event was well attended by key figures from Cheltenham’s business community including representatives from the Council, GlosFirst, as well as the Town’s Mayor Councillor Lloyd Surgenor.
The business units are aimed at start-ups, small businesses and those needing to downsize or find more economical business premises. Alex Gale, development manager at Space Business Centres said: ‘We are well aware that in the current economic climate it is quite exceptional to be launching a new business venture such as this, however, we have been greatly encouraged by the interest from Martin Horwood MP, the Local Council and other business support groups and are confident that Space Business Centre Cheltenham will be a success. We have already a number of units reserved which has given us great encouragement.’
Martin Horwood MP, who is also Liberal Democrat spokesman for the Environment stated “This is the way all new buildings should be built. I think it is very important. It is the first rainwater harvesting system I know in Cheltenham, at least on a large scale.”
The brand new development behind the Range Superstore on Tewkesbury Road, Cheltenham, consists of 56 small business units ranging from 275 – 774 sq ft which will be let on easy-in, easy-out terms with a maximum of just one month’s commitment from the tenant.
To give potential tenants a head start in the current economic climate, Space Business Centres is offering the first three months rent free for the first 10 occupiers on site. Terms and conditions apply.
